Created by Sega in 1994, Knuckles is a strong and serious red echidna, guardian of the Master Emerald on the floating Angel Island. Reserved, thoughtful, and gifted with impressive physical strength, he can glide and climb walls, making him the perfect counterpart to Sonic in their adventures. Both a rival and an ally to Sonic, Knuckles arrives at Orcaz in a fan art poster.
Fun fact: The Sonic & Knuckles duo gave birth in 1994 to a cult game on the Mega Drive, with an innovative cartridge that allowed players to combine Sonic & Knuckles with Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 (the famous “lock-on” technology).
